The people who worked on this branch thought for some time that it is most likely that they departed from Britain. The Big-Y and str-results of 231633 (Portugal) and str-results of 235590 (Spain, Basque) support the idea that they come from Iberia. No indication that they have a history before that coming from Britain.

In 2016 it was concluded that this is an Iberian branch. Some descendants remained in Iberia. The evidence is present on yfull. It has both the Ashkenazi descendants and an Iberian descendant, who has a history in Brazil with lots of documentation pointing towards accusations of Judaism in Olinda (Pernambuco).
