This group has members in the classic Eastern-European Ashkenazi group. No descendants are found in the western part (Dutch, German). Two people have probably an older shared ancestry: (169447) Davit Davitian from the Armenian ftdna page and 284512 from Campania (Southern Italy). In the period before the strong growth of the Ashkenazi people, exchange of Jewish people in the area of southern Italy and Armenia was common. Many of the Ashkenazi founding fathers probably came from the middle east, sometimes passing Italy.

Possible migration routes:

Next generation tests (Big-Y from ftdna or Elite 2.0 from fullgenomes.com can might answer this question). The distance between the three lines (Ashkenazi, Italian, Armenian) are so large that the calculated STR distances (about 1500ybp) should be considered underestimates.
